We are Americans traveling in Asolo. Da Besse was simply “da besse”. There is no written menu so be prepared to translate. We had lasagne and tagliatelle and were kicking ourselves for not ordering the steak after smelling it at a nearby table. The prices are extremely reasonable. The decor is very simple and modest. Service was exceptional. Meringue and cafe semi-fredo were wow. Chocolate soufflé was good. We will be returning.

I was coming down from Mount Grappa and I was looking for a place to eat a fixed price menu. I was intrigued by the name, set the navigator and off I went. Full restaurant, several choices of first courses and then, surprise of the second courses, the chicken hearts arrived, the stew, grilled and boiled meat... fried potatoes, water and coffee... 13 euros! Highly recommended
